Contrary to what a lot of modern people think, we can learn important truths about the world through the study of theology. In other words, theology is rational and a true source of knowledge.

Unfortunately, far too many people think theology is a myth. They think it is all based on fantasy and wishful thinking. And a big reason why people think this is because so many Christians have a MISTAKEN view of faith.

This mistaken view of faith is that faith is nothing more than “a blind impulse of the mind”.

But this is an ERROR. It’s the same error made by both liberal Protestants and liberal “Catholic” modernists.

This view is actually a corruption of what faith really is. It’s a corrupt ideology that completely undermines the sublime nature of the study of theology.

To correct this error, we need to get back the scholastic understanding of faith and theology.

So in this episode of Spiritual Combat, I’ll give you a quick overview of what that is and why theology is rational and a true source of knowledge.
